We had a really wonderful holiday at La Quinta. We visited Tenerife 6th Sep-20th Sep, we had 2 junior deluxe apartments (one for my parents one for myself & husband) the apartments were spotless, good size with very comfortable beds.
The swimming pools are really nice with plenty of sun loungers, and a pool man there daily so you can change towels. The view out to sea and to Puerto De Cruz from the hotel was really pretty and it was quite spectacular watching the sun set in the evening.
We hired a car and found it really quite easy to park near the hotel. My parents went on the free shuttle service one day that operates outside the hotel and were very impressed. I would say however that if you are going here for longer than a week than a car is essential.
We found the hotel formal but with a very relaxed atmosphere.
The spa is amazing really lovely with the different jets in the swimming pool for massage and also two different temperature jacuzzis. I also really liked the heated beds.
All the staff were really nice and friendly, I asked for the free internet access password at reception quite a few times and although I have read that people had trouble connecting with the free wifi at the hotel I did not experience this at all.
A special thank you to Alex and Jose and also the lady that worked the bar (sorry I can’t remember her name!)
We would definitely visit again, a very nice relaxing holiday
One of the reasons we decided to come to this Hotel was the Gym. We went to many Hotels before and we don´t find such a Hotel´s gym before. The rest of the Hotel is also very good. It´s always clean and the workers are always very pleasants. The rooms are very big and nice, we recomend you the Panorama Rooms. We had “all inclusive” and we can say the food is very good. It´s allways varied and tasteful.
Was fantastic 5 day trip to unwind. Totally inclusive, plenty great tasting, fresh food. Attentive staff. Eve entertainment was ok but created nice atmosphere. Spa is lovely, very relaxing. So clean. Free bus to Puerto de la Cruz all day where you can enjoy a nice coffee and cake, ice cream, shop and enjoy a stroll along front and through…
The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. They cater to vegetarians and went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. The food was tasty and they had a wide variety of dishes. The facilities, especially the spa, were brilliant and there was always entertainment in the evenings. Perfect location between two main cities and a shuttle bus was provided. The staff helped plan our trip for the seven days we were here to ensure we saw verything and had time to relax! Would defeinitely come back to this hotel again!
We stayed for a weekend in the junior suite with panoramic views across the beautiful coastline with a backdrop of Mount Teide. Although the clouds spoilt the view a bit, we were prepared for this as February is still chilly here in Tenerife. The apartment was huge, spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and with a big double bed in the separate bedroom. There is a self contained kitchen and modern bathroom with a full length bath. The terrace is big too and the view does not disappoint. The food is very tasty and plentiful and although we had originally booked for half board, we decided to upgrade to all inclusive so that we could have lunch and have drinks with our meal as well as coffee and cocktails. It is important to note that you should book on the La Quinta website as this ncludes daily access to the spa at no extra cost. Other agencies do not include the spa (which is expensive). The hotel is pretty isolated so do not expect buzzing night life, it is in a residential area and the nearest tourist resort, Puerto de la Cruz, is a bus ride away. However, we work on the island so for a really great, relaxing weekend break away from it all it is just the ticket. I would definitely recommend and hope to go again soon.
